Patau’s syndrome is a condition screened for at the 20-week scan as part of the NHS Fetal Anomaly Screening Programme (FASP). This document includes information for parents about:

- follow-up tests and appointments
- what the outlook for the baby is
- what happens next
- how likely it is to happen in future pregnancies
- where more support and information is available
