Our mission
The UK is one of Iceland’s closest neighbour and we have a strong bilateral relationship. We work in Iceland on a range of bilateral and multilateral issues including energy, the Arctic, cyber, tech and innovation, trade and investment, education, climate change and international security. We also support British nationals through our consular services.
Within the embassy, the Department for Business and Trade (DBT) aims to make the UK one of Iceland’s key strategic partners in trade, inward investment and globalisation. We bring together experts from the UK and Iceland, promote bilateral contacts and co-operation.
