If your web browser (the software you use to access the internet) is out of date, you should either:

  • update it to the latest version
  • switch to a new browser

This will mean:

  • your computer will be more secure and less likely to be attacked
  • it’ll be faster to browse the internet
  • you’ll see more features on many websites

Your browser will often update automatically but you can also check for and install browser updates manually.
