This ad hoc publication reports on management information for Personal Independence Payment (PIP) new claims registered and decisions made April 2013 to December 2013.

April and May totals only include new claim volumes for the north of England, as this was the geographical area PIP was rolled out to during the controlled start period. From June onwards, volumes reflect new claims nationally.
