This release brings together statistical material relating to the Terrorism Act 2000 (TACT), including arrests and their outcomes, as well as breakdowns of stops and searches made under the powers of the Act. Data presented here cover the period up to 30 September 2015.
Further information on TACT, categories and terminology used in this release and information about the data providers is available in the user guide.
The Home Office would like to get a better understanding of who uses these statistics, and the ways in which they use them. For this reason, the Home Office is conducting a consultation on these statistics to seek feedback on some potential changes.
