This transparency release provides information on the number of:

  • early career teachers who started the full early career framework (ECF) induction programme
  • teachers and leaders who started a national professional qualification (NPQ) from the reformed suite of NPQs
  • teachers and leaders who started a national professional qualification (NPQ) from the 2017 suite of NPQs between autumn 2017 and August 2022

The figures are based on management information submitted to the Department for Education (DfE) by lead providers.
