The IWS sets out how Magnox manages waste arising from the decommissioning of each of its 12 sites in an integrated and sustainable way. It sets out the approaches that have been put in place to ensure best use of existing and planned waste management capabilities. It also considers future requirements as the Magnox portfolio grows.
