This is the first annual report from the Director of Labour Market Enforcement.

It assesses labour market enforcement activity following the Director’s introductory strategy, which covers the reporting year from April 2017 to March 2018.

The annual report sets out:

  • an assessment of the extent to which labour market enforcement functions were exercised from April 2017 to March 2018 in accordance with the introductory strategy
  • an assessment of the extent to which the Director’s introductory strategy had an effect on the scale and nature of non-compliance in the corresponding reporting year
  • a statement of activities relating to the Director’s Information Hub undertaken in the reporting period
