Government response to Parliamentary Committee reports on the use of UK-manufactured arms in Yemen
An inquiry into the use of UK-manufactured arms in Yemen was conducted by the Committees on Arms Export Controls (CAEC), which consisted of members from 4 Parliamentary committees: Business, Innovation and Skills; Defence; Foreign Affairs; and International Development.

Details
Two Parliamentary reports were published in relation to this inquiry. The Business, Innovation and Skills and International Development Committees published one report (HC 679), and the Foreign Affairs Committee published another report (HC 688). These were both published on 15 September.
The Defence Committee didn’t publish a report, or endorse either of the other 2 reports.
The government has published 2 separate responses to these reports, by Command Papers:
- Cm 9349 addresses the conclusions and recommendations made in the report published by the Business, Innovation and Skills and International Development Committees
- Cm 9353 addresses the conclusions and recommendations made in the report published by the Foreign Affairs Committee
