The annual report highlights the work that the Commission has done over the past twelve months, such as:

  1. Hosting the seventh Scarman lecture where we heard from Baroness Hale, the then-President of the Supreme Court who spoke about thirty years of the Children Act

  2. Welcoming Professor Penney Lewis, the new Criminal Law Commissioner, and Professor Sarah Green, the new Commercial and Common Law Commissioner to the Law Commission, both of whom started in 2020. We also welcomed two new Non-Executive Board Members, Joshua Rozenberg and Baroness Deech.

  3. Laying six reports with recommendations for reform in Parliament, including on Anti-Money Laundering, the Electronic Execution of Documents and on Electoral Laws.

  4. Publishing two consultations – the second of three on automated vehicles, and one on the system of intermediated securities
