The Northern Ireland Trader Support Service (TSS) Programme is part of HMRC’s work to implement the Protocol on Ireland/Northern Ireland (the ‘Northern Ireland Protocol’), which became UK law under the EU Withdrawal Agreement Act 2020.

The TSS provides a free to use service to support traders to meet their administrative obligations under the Northern Ireland.

This programme is key to government’s work to support Brexit transition and forms part of the Government Major Projects Portfolio.

The Accounting Officer assessed that the programme was value for money and deliverable.
