Renuka Jeyarajah-Dent OBE
Biography
Renuka was appointed to the Child Safeguarding Practice Review Panel in November 2021 for a period of 4 years.
Renuka is a chartered (educational) psychologist whose practice included Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS) and children’s social care before joining the voluntary sector, including for many years, as Deputy CEO and Director of Operations at Coram, the country’s first children’s charity.
Renuka has written and chaired high profile case reviews and provided consultancy both nationally and internationally. Board posts have included the Association of Chief Executives of Voluntary Organisations (ACEVO) and St. George’s Hospital Charity, a position which she continues to hold.
