Paul Grange

Biography

After a short spell in the Ministry of Defence (MOD) at the RN spares depot at Eaglescliffe, Paul moved into the chemical industry in 1985 working at the ICI North Tees complex on Teesside. He held a variety of operational, reliability and management roles predominantly working on the joint venture Crude Oil Refinery and associated processing units including HDS, sulphur recovery (Sulferox), LPG distillation, steam generation, tank farm and Road & Rail filling station.

In 2009, Paul was appointed the Terminal Manager for the 760,000 m3 upper tier CoMAH tank storage facility and Road & Rail distribution terminal operated by Petroplus with overall responsibility and budget holder for site HSEQ, Operations and Engineering.

Paul joined the OPA in 2012 as Operations Manager and currently has line manager responsibility for all the staff at all 6 Oil Fuel Depots and the underground storage facility at Plumley, Cheshire.
