Ann McConnell
Biography
Ann is a recently retired Director of Human Resources with over 35 years’ experience. She has held a wide range of roles and specialised in Organisation Development. She has also represented NI Health and Social Care employers at a number of national and cross border committees and fora.
Ann has also been a member of the Healthcare People Management Association and Chaired the Northern Ireland Healthcare People Management Association Committee for 2 years. She has an MBA and a Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development Post Graduate Diploma.

The Member of the Review Body on Doctors’ and Dentists’ Remuneration is independent. Its role is to make recommendations to the Prime Minister, the Secretary of State for Health, the First Minister and the Cabinet Secretary for Health and Wellbeing of the Scottish Parliament, the First Minister and the Minister for Health and Social Services in the Welsh Assembly Government and the First Minister, Deputy First Minister and Minister for Health, Social Services and Public Safety of the Northern Ireland Executive on the remuneration of doctors and dentists taking any part in the National Health Service.
