The School Teachers' Review Body (STRB) makes recommendations on the pay, professional duties and working time of school teachers in England and reports to the Secretary of State for Education and the Prime Minister.

Responsibilities
We are responsible for advising on pay and conditions for teachers in England. Before making recommendations, we are required to consult certain organisations:
- teacher unions and associations
- organisations representing school governing bodies
- local authorities
