The PCA’s Annual Tied Tenant Survey 2024 is now complete

The target of speaking with 1200 tied tenants to gather their views and opinions on the Pubs Code and their pub company has now been reached.

The Pubs Code has now reached its target of speaking with 1,200 tied tenants for the PCA’s Annual Tied Tenant Survey 2024.

The independent research company, Ipsos, has engaged with tied tenants from the six pub companies operating within the Code (Admiral, Greene King, Marston’s, Punch, Star and Stonegate). The survey is crucial for gathering insights from their tied pub tenants and facilitating comparisons among the pub companies.

Fiona Dickie, Pubs Code Adjudicator, said: “We would like to pass on our sincere thanks to all those who took the time to be surveyed. The survey is an essential tool for tied tenants to express their views on their pub company and help to ensure the effectiveness of the Pubs Code in safeguarding their interests.

“The insights gained from the survey help to steer our priorities for the coming 12 months and empowers us to help more hard-working business owners. By actively participating in the survey, they have contributed to the ongoing efforts to enhance transparency, fairness and accountability in the industry, thank you.”

The results will now be analysed and the findings will be shared in due course.
