Learning Connect

A space for learning and development professionals in government.

What is Learning Connect?

Learning Connect is a new space for learning and development professionals across government. If you are a learning and development professional, please join our mailing list for updates.

Our first initiative was a free online course which is still open for enrolment. Over 600 people have joined and the course has received great feedback. The course is interactive and includes sections on continuing professional development, accessibility, AI and digital platforms.

If you aren’t a learning and development professional but still have an interest in learning and development in government, please sign-up for Campus News instead.

Learning Connect events

We are running a series of live workshops over spring 2024 which are free and open to anybody in UK government with a professional interest in learning and development. Our next workshop is:

When Learning and Development Goes Well…and When it Goes Less Well

  • Thursday 16 May - 11am to 12 noon
  • Fully online (MS Teams)
  • To book your place, register here

The aim of the workshop is for participants to:

  • Share best practices and success stories, inspiring peers and igniting fresh ideas.
  • Discuss challenges faced, lessons learned, and what-not-to-do insights to help others avoid pitfalls.
  • Network and connect with fellow learning and development colleagues, fostering a supportive community of shared experiences and expertise.
