Call for evidence description

Our aim is to produce a strategy which will encourage a world leading bioeconomy which is appropriate to the UK’s industrial structure and availability of natural resources. This strategy will involve many different sectors across the economy and will need to take account of other objectives, such as:

  • decarbonisation
  • sustainability
  • food security

This call for evidence asks a series of questions which will help us identify the opportunities, challenges, barriers and enablers. We want your views on where there is room for growth and what needs to be done to achieve the promise of the bioeconomy.
